Visit with us our Embera brothers

Crossing the Chagres River and the Emberá Culture.

day tours

Enjoy a canoe trip where you can enjoy and admire the beauty of the Chagres National Park

A very interesting experience with an indigenous flavor is to visit our Emberá brothers in the Chagres National Park. We will visit the dense and rich humid jungle that surrounds this National Park, as one of the wildlife refuges of our country.

Guna Yala Explorer has added this tour to our catalog as part of our Indigenous Panama route and in this way explore, meet and have a cultural exchange with our brothers from the 7 Indigenous peoples that are part of our beautiful Panama.

In the morning hours we will pick you up at your Hotel for the transfer to one of the indigenous communities of Panama located in the Chagres National Park exactly to the Port of Corotú where our Embera brother guides from the area await us who will transfer us in their traditional boats called canoe.

Throughout the journey we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, spotting local birds, vegetation and a beautiful waterfall that we will visit on this tour.

Upon arrival at the community they will welcome us in a traditional way, they will share with us their dances, music, crafts, and history of this brother indigenous people, we will share their traditional food (fish with patacones)
